Trouble Still at the Border

The backlash against Trump has faded due to high violence south of the border. This past Sunday, gang members from  San Luis Potosi executed a man by hanging. This was a clear message that Drug cartels still control this region and Mexico overall.

Trump has remained vocal about building the wall across the southern border throughout his Presidency, but Congress is not working with him.  “I think they just want to see him lose, said Bill Frest from Nogales, AZ. Trump is trying really hard, but Democrats and Republicans are both fighting against what Americans voted for.”

Since President Trump has been elected in office, border crossings has decreased by 48%. Border patrol agents have also noticed fewer drugs being smuggled across the border.
